Inspired by the colors of nature I use vivid colors to share my stories. I save the bones from special meals I share with my family. This playful experimentation of the bones calls attention to other bodies it took to advance the medical industry.
The process of preserving the bones and drying them enough to paint with. When ready the bones soak up every color of paint they touch.
